On Monday Donald Trump tweeted a video that features clips of anti-Trump protests, violence and a bloodied police officer before a dramatic narration states “We’re at War.” That tweet has since been removed.
As reported by CNN, the video was originally posted on Twitter by a Trump supporter and Trump re-tweeted it. It contained a clip of a gun firing into the air with footage from a canceled Trump rally in Chicago during which fistfights broke out between Trump supporters and protesters. The narrator says:
We’re at war. No one wants to admit it but humanity is under attack. One very specific man might be all that stands between humanity and the greatest threat of our brief existence.
Do you think the 2nd Amendment will be destroyed by the Biden Administration?(2)
The narrator is actor Martin Sheen. The video maker pulled his voice-over from the video game “Mass Effect 2” and added it to the video.
Trump’s media director, Dan Scavino also re-tweeted the video.
