Roger Stone is confident he could do a better job then Donald Trump’s embattled campaign manager Corey Lewandowski.
On Thursday, the veteran politician and former Trump adviser was interviewing on WIOD Radio in Miami when he said:If I were running the campaign it would be going more smoothly.
Stone was not thrilled with the latest controversy involving Lewandowski and his involvement with a female reporter. He said:

Stone also said the video that shows Lewandowski yanking former Breitbart News reporter Michelle Fields arm “inconclusive.”
He also denied tipping off the National Enquirer for its story alleging Texas Senator Ted Cruz had multiple affairs. Cruz quickly insinuated Trump and his associates were involved with making up the story. He called Stone a “hatchet man.”Stone said the following about Cruz:
It’s complete nonsense. He has no proof whatsoever. . . I am many things, but stupid is not one of them.
Stone also stated in addition to the controversy with Cruz, Lewandowski’s legal trouble and Trump’s recent statements on abortion are all adding to his negative perception across the country with women.
His campaign needs to get back to the main themes that have gotten him where he is today.
