Republican presidential candidate and frontrunner, Donald Trump, appeared on “Fox News Sunday” where host Chris Wallace took him to task over the billionaire’s recent controversial abortion remarks and his retweet of an unflattering picture of Heidi Cruz, Ted Cruz’s wife.
“Are you in the process of blowing your campaign for president?” asked Wallace, adding, “If you had purposely set out to turn off voters, especially women voters, over the last two weeks, I’m not sure you could have done a better job.”
Trump responded:
“Well, you know, all I can do is [what] I do. I’m self-funding my campaign, I’m not one of these politicians that’s being controlled by the people that give them money. Believe me, and they’re totally controlled. I think I’m doing very well,” Trump responded, before conceding, “Was this my best week? I guess not. I could have done without the retweet, etcetera, etcetera.”-Blaze

Wisconsin’s primary election is this week and Trump is expected to lose the all important Badger state to Ted Cruz.
Cruz has been surging in all of the nationwide polls, but Trump still holds a commanding lead over him and Ohio Governor John Kasich, who for whatever reason is still in race, even though he does not have a path to winning the Republican presidential nomination.
