Teflon Trump is fighting off some more attacks over the recent and controversial abortion comments he made, which ruffled the feathers of his rivals from both sides of the political aisle.
What he said:Trump stated on MSNBC that he believes that there should be “some form of punishment” for women who have an abortion, if the procedure is eventually outlawed.

Those on the conservative side also pounded on Trump after he stated that he may have “misspoke” when he made the remark on Fox News Channel’s “O’Reilly Factor with fill-in host Eric Bolling.
Trump’s rival in the 2016 Republican presidential primary race, Senator Ted Cruz, also took a shot at the billionaire for not thinking it through before opening his mouth on an issue that he may or may not know all too much about.

Abortion is one of those “lose-lose” issues that Republicans should usually never dwell on, but that is what Democrats salivate over – a Republican making a social issue part of the every day discourse, especially during presidential election year.
