Democratic National Committee (DNC) Chairwoman, Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, recently appeared on Fox Business Network’s “Mornings with Maria,” where she stated that the 2016 Democratic presidential primary and subsequent general election, would not be based upon Hillary Clinton’s current email scandal.
“This election is not about Hillary Clinton’s emails…It’s about whether or not we’re going to be able to help people who feel like they’re not on the firmest ground right now have more confidence that they can help their kids be better off and reach the middle class.“[Clinton] handled the email process correctly and according to the letter of the law. In terms of what she was doing with compliance, she was compliant. She has released 55,000 pages of emails. She’s actually said she would not have used private email.”-Hill
