A new poll by the Florida Atlantic University Business and Economics Polling Initiative (FAU BEPI) shows Donald Trump has surged nearly 12 points in the last two months in Florida.
The survey began on January 15 and concluded on January 18.Trump leads the GOP field in Florida with 47.6 percent; Ted Cruz is second with 16.3 percent, Marco Rubio is third with 11.1 percent and Jeb Bush is fourth with 9.5 percent.
Ben Carson was hit the hardest. He fell from third to fifth place as his support dropped from 14.5 percent in November to only 3.3 percent in the latest poll. Cruz gained more than six points since November and Rubio lost more than seven points. Bush gained six-tenths of a point. Hey! It’s an improvement.
