Our Managing Editor, Javier Manjarres was on NewsMaxTV’s Prime along with Executive Director of the Latino Partnership at American Principle and Action, Alfonso Aguilar.
They were discussing the fact the Supreme Court is going to take up Obama’s illegal executive action on immigration reform along with Marco Rubio’s stance on immigration reform.Manjarres said he does not know what is going to happen in the Supreme Court after what happened with Obamacare. He thinks Judge Roberts is unpredictable after that ruling because the courts decisions are now purely political.
Aguilar said he opposed Obama’s executive action because he thought it should have went through Congress and he didn’t. He does feel the Supreme Court is going to validate his executive order though.
Do you think the 2nd Amendment will be destroyed by the Biden Administration?(2)
Next, they discussed Marco Rubio’s position on illegal immigration. Rubio said recently he does not think the millions of illegal immigrants in the United States are going to be deported so with that being said he does support some type of immigration reform. He also commented he thinks criminal illegal immigrants should be deported.
Manjarres comments to Rubio’s response was:
Considering what he said in the past, what he said now. Senator Rubio has no credibility on immigration reform. We don’t know what he is going to say next. In 2010 . . . he was hawkish for immigration reform, now he is not, now he wants a pathway, some days he doesn’t.
Aguilar did not agree:
Marco Rubio knows immigration very well. He is one of the candidates that know the issue better then the most.
Aguilar also thinks once illegal immigrants pay the fine, it is no longer considered amnesty.
