U.S. Senate candidate Rep. Ron DeSantis appeared on the Joyce Kaufman radio show this past week, where aside from pointing out many of the ills that the Obama socialist agenda has brought upon the United States of America, DeSantis made a very good observation in regards to the seat President Obama said he would leave empty at the State of the Union address.
Kaufman jokingly asked if he was “taking a Muslim” to the State of the Union address, DeSantis answered by saying that he wasn’t doing so, but pointed out that the president was leaving an empty seat open in honor of those killed by gun violence.DeSantis then asked why the president wasn’t also leaving an empty seat open in honor of those killed by Islamic terrorists, saying that it was “very telling” of him not to do so.
DeSantis concluded the call by saying that his wife was not interested in going to the State of the Union address because she would rather see the Pope, than see a president speak.
Do you think the 2nd Amendment will be destroyed by the Biden Administration?(2)
The Senate race in Florida to replace outgoing Senator Marco Rubio hasn’t heated up much yet, but that is because all of the political attention is on the presidential primary race. Trust me, there will be fireworks in this race.
DeSantis’ Senate opponents are businessman Todd Wilcox, Lt.Governor Carlos Lopez-Cantera, who DeSantis eludes to being favored by the “Tallahassee click,” and Rep. David Jolly, who also eludes to being supported by the Washington, D.C. lobbyist class.
