Fashionista’s and news outlets are all commenting about one thing: Marco Rubio’s choice of shoes!

While out on the campaign trail in New Hampshire, Marco Rubio was sporting a shiny new pair of black man heels.

His heels were first noted by New York Times reporter Michael Barbaro on Monday:

Since then everyone is talking about them.

Whereas heels are generally seen on women, Rubio has been trying to make them the new fad for men. Que?!?

Ted Cruz’s communications director, Rick Tyler tweeting the following:

Marco Rubio’s campaign has since told POLTICO his man heels came from Florsheim and after a review of the site they seem to be the “Duke” style for $135.

Sorry Rubio, we are going to have to say this is the first fashion fail of the 2016 race but I am sure there will be more to come.
