To use Donald Trump’s own words to describe his lead over the Republican field of presidential candidates, Ted Cruz is “killing” it in the latest polls coming out of Iowa.
The most recent Fox News poll has Cruz with 28% support, Trump with 26%, followed by Marco Rubio with 13%, and Ben Carson fading fast, down to 10%.Just a couple days prior to Fox News releasing their poll results, the Des Moines Register/Bloomberg Politics released their poll results, and the results were the same.

In the Des Moines Register/ Bloomberg Politics poll, Cruz garners 31% support, Trump 21%, Rubio 13%, and Carson 10%.
In looking at the internal numbers within the Fox News poll, Cruz is considered to be the candidate that would be toughest on national security, if elected President.
