There is no question that Donald Trump’s recent call for a temporary ban on Muslims entering the U.S. has shaken up American politics.
While Republicans, included elected officials and some candidates for Congress have railed against his remarks banning Muslims, some have refused to take a position for, or against the Republican presidential frontrunnerThe Palm Beach Post spoke to the Republican Congressional candidates in the hotly contested primary race to replace outgoing Rep. Patrick Murphy (D), and asked them for their thoughts about what Trump said.

Mast seems to have taken more of Ted Cruz approach at handling the Trump statement, this after recently praising Trump, saying that he was “proud” of the presidential candidates plan of reforming to the Department of Veteran’s Affairs.
Whatever your opinion is about what Trump said about Muslims, the ugly truth is that he said what many Americans are thinking , and believe to be true.
