On Wednesday the Supreme Court upheld a court’s ruling about the state’s congressional districts.The ruling means districts in South Florida crafted by a coalition of voting-rights groups will be used in the map over the next three elections.

Brown is arguing her district does not include enough minorities. She cites the Voting Rights Act is on her side and that she is the voice of the minorities. Apparently the Supreme Court of Florida didn’t buy it.
Justice Barbara Pariente wrote the majority opinion and she said the ruling should:bring much needed finality to litigation concerning this state’s congressional redistricting that has now spanned nearly four years in state courts.
