Newly elected House Speaker, Paul Ryan said he was ready to make changes and one of the first changes he made was removing a portrait of Dennis Hastert in the Speaker’s lobby outside the House floor.
Former Speaker of the House Dennis Hastert recently plead guilty in a $3.5 million hush money case last week in Chicago.It is rumored Hastert was paying a former student to stay quiet about allegations of sexual abuse when he was a wrestling coach and teacher in Yorkville, Illinois.
Ryan’s spokeswoman AshLee Strong told CNN:
