With his presidential campaign in a virtual tailspin, former Florida Governor Jeb Bush has exclusively given U.S. News the campaign’s 112-page blueprint on how Bush plans to win the GOP presidential nomination in 2016.
The report highlights how Senator Marco Rubio is not the candidate Americans can afford to elected because of all of his past financial mistakes and questionable associations, especially his close friendship with former Congressman David Rivera.Marco Is A Risky Bet
That is the title of page 19 in Jeb Bush’s campaign blueprint
Do you think the 2nd Amendment will be destroyed by the Biden Administration?(2)
Here is the screen capture of the page:
Bush lays out what is already known about Rubio and Rivera, but may be holding off on how several of Rubio’s current and key legislative aides, as well as campaign staffers have been under investigation, or have been questioned by federal officials over the whole David Rivera scandal.
As far as Norman Braman being a “personal benefactor,” it has been reported that Rubio’s wife has been hired as a consultant to “oversee” the Braman foundation’s charitable endeavors.Translation: Braman pays Rubio’s wife for services, which he obviously benefits from.
Surely there is nothing illegal about this, but many will argue that it blurs those darn ethics lines.
And then there is the last bullet point on the slide:
What does Bush know about Rubio’s past?“Those who have looked into Marco’s background in the past have been concerned with what they have found.”
On another slide, Bush touts a recent internal poll his campaign conducted in the early primary state of New Hampshire.
The polls shows Bush tied for third place with Ohio Governor John Kasich, while showing that Donald Trump was trouncing the field of Republican presidential candidates with 26 percent support.
With the kind of disastrous debate performance he had, and with the release of this campaign blueprint, has officially pushed the panic button, and he be looking for a soft and quiet political field in which to crash land his presidential campaign?
