In typical Donald Trump form, “The Donald” took the stage at his presidential campaign rally his past Friday in Miami, Florida, and gave the 3000 plus supporters the red meat they were in search of.
Moments before Trump took the stage, several of the usual Republican establishment politicos in Florida, who also happen to be GOP Executive Committee chairmen in their respective counties, clamored backstage with Trump supporters for that priceless photo op with the man who could very well become the 2016 Republican presidential nominee, and possibly president of the United States.A couple of these GOP leaders have already committed their support for Marco Rubio and Jeb Bush, so their presence at the rally, not to mention their willingness to loiter around backstage to meet Trump, could speak to the growing dissatisfaction Floridians have with both Rubio and Jeb Bush.
In speaking with about a dozen or so former Rubio and Jeb Bush supporters at the rally, the share sentiment among them was that Rubio had betrayed them on immigration reform, and couldn’t be trusted, and that Bush was always for amnesty for illegal immigrants, adding that his political ship had sailed.
Do you think the 2nd Amendment will be destroyed by the Biden Administration?(2)
Several former Rubio supporters added that their recent negative interactions with his presidential campaign, was what completely pushed them towards Trump.
Regardless of the anti-Rubio sentiment, the Senator from Florida is creeping up in all of the national polls, and in my opinion, is the real threat to Trump, not Bush.
“I’m winning Florida!. I’m beating Bush and Rubio!”-Donald Trump
Amid the chants of “we want Trump” and “USA! USA!,” Trump took the stage to a huge applause of support, where he reiterated that he disavowed any and all of the super PAC’s that supported his candidacy, and stated that he believes the other candidates in the race should do the same.
What would a Trump rally be without him taking a swipe at one or all of his primary opponents”
Trump, who is never scripted when he takes the stage, reminded attendees that Jeb Bush was low energy, but that Ben Carson, who is in second place, is “very low energy.”
The political read meat he through out to his supports was relentless. There wasn’t anything Trump didn’t touch on.
Trump ripped Obama’s decision to negotiate with the “dirty rotten traitor” Bowe Bergdahl, hinting that Bergdahl should face a firing squad, and vowed to “reopening” the deal that Obama made with the Taliban to free Bergdahl in exchange for 5 Islamists.Let me just say, this event was nothing less than electric, as the noise level in ballroom at Trump’s Doral resort where the event was held was deafening. The Trump crowd outnumbered any crowd that gathered for Rubio and Romney events in Miami during the 2012 presidential election.
Even with Trump giving the crowd what they came to see and hear, the pro-illegal immigration hecklers that clowned themselves by interrupting Trump only added to the program.
Trump used the heckling to his advantage, and did not let them throw him off his game.
Wait, let’s not forget that Trump also took some swipes at the “lying” media, as well as those TV talking heads that have dismissed his candidacy.
These talking head are some of the dumbest human beings-Donald Trump
