Of course these Jeb Bush and Marco Rubio are still good amigos, even with all the subtle barbs that they are flinging at one another.
They are one in the same: power hungry and starving for attention
Has political expediency and the prospect of becoming a powerful political figure ever gotten between close friends?
Do you think the 2nd Amendment will be destroyed by the Biden Administration?(2)
We all know that answer to that questions. Yup!
With Bush poll ratings having all but completely fallen off the political cliff, not to mention an obvious down-tick in campaign donations this past quarter, and Rubio rising to fourth place in the latest Fox News poll, Team Bush continues to take aim at “Marquito” Rubio.
Jeb has been dinging Rubio over his missed votes in the Senate, and has recently said that Americans have already experimented with a novice Senator that became President. Now Team Bush is using Jeb’s younger son, Jeb Bush Jr. or Jebito, as he is referred to in the Miami boogie down, to go on the attack against Rubio.
Speaking in front of a group of college Republicans at New York University, junior called out Rubio for his missed Senate votes, asking him to “drop out of do something.”
“As a Floridian, I’m a little disappointed, because he’s missing, like, 35 percent of his votes,” the younger Bush said. “And it’s just, kind of, like, dude, you know, either drop out or do something, but we’re paying you to do something, it ain’t run for president.”
So, first it was Jeb himself, and now Jeb Jr. is taking swipes at Rubio. Who will be the next to come out swinging against Rubio, Barbara Bush, or perhaps President George W. Bush?
Bush still leads Rubio among Republicans in Florida, but Rubio has closed the gap, and has surpassed his mentor in the aforementioned Fox News poll, which Rubio leads Bush by 1 percentage point.
