If Donald Trump wins the 2016 Republican presidential nomination, there is a good chance that he may not pick Senator Marco Rubio as his vice presidential running mate, not that Rubio would even take the job if it was offered to him.
The two men have been trading barbs over the past couple of weeks, barbs that seem to be escalating as Rubio creeps up in all of the national public opinion polls.“From time to time we’ll respond, because it’s fun to watch him blow up even more.” – Marco Rubio (Hill)
Rubio jokes about poking the billionaire bear, but Trump has also unleashed some downright stinging body blows to Rubio.
Do you think the 2nd Amendment will be destroyed by the Biden Administration?(2)
Rubio has called Trump “touchy and insecure,” but someone who is “touchy” about losing the hair on his head, Rubio may not have liked the comment Trump made about having “better hair” than him.
Trump has also poked at Rubio’s propensity to sweat a lot when he sent Rubio’s DC Senate office a case of Trump-labeled water bottles and a towel.“(Rubio) announced he was going to run because he’s overly ambitious, too young — and I have better hair than he does, right?” –Donald Trump
Rubio was visibly sweating on the stage at last month’s CNN debate of Republican presidential candidates at the Ronald Reagan library in Simi Valley, California.
Now Trump is calling Rubio a “perfect little puppet” for casino mogul Sheldon Adelson, who Trump thinks will mold him into whomever he wants Rubio to be.
Rubio is on the very short list of candidates will be getting Adelson’s support.
Sheldon Adelson is looking to give big dollars to Rubio because he feels he can mold him into his perfect little puppet. I agree!

How will Rubio counter, if he does?
Stay tuned. This back and forth between Rubio and Trump makes for great media, so expect news media outlets to demand more of these exchanges.
