Support for legalizing medicinal marijuana continues to surge in Florida, as a new Quinnipiac poll shows that 9 in 10 Floridians support legalizing pot, but only for adults.
The poll, which surveyed 1,173 registered voters in Florida, found that 87 percent of those polled support the measure, while only 12 percent opposed the move to make pot legal. When it come to legalizing medical pot across the board, 51 percent of Floridians polls support it.
Back in 2014, the pro-medical marijuana group, United for Care, was able to get their state constitutional amendment to legalize marijuana on the ballot, but failed to garner the necessary 60 percent support needed for the amendment to pass.
Do you think the 2nd Amendment will be destroyed by the Biden Administration?(2)
The same group is making another push in 2016, and have already garnered over 600,000 unverified petition signatures.
From the looks of things, if the medical marijuana amendment makes it on the ballot in 2016, it will pass.
Smoke them if you got them. <<< Not an endorsement for the measure. Honest.
