During his visit to the United States Pope Frances met privately with Kim Davis according to NewsMax. Kim Davis is the Kentucky clerk who refused to issue marriage licenses to gay couples.
The pope told her to “stay strong” and the meeting occurred in Washington, D.C. on September 24 at the Vatican Embassy.He also said:
