Former Congresswoman and current congressional candidate Sandy Adams (R), who is arguably one of the toughest grandma’s to ever walk the halls of Congress, has just landed the endorsement of fellow Florida conservative, Congressman Richard Nugent (R).

Here are Nugent’s glowing remarks about Adams:

Sandy Adams is hands-down one of the toughest and most competent people I have ever worked with. Like Sandy, I spent my career working in law enforcement. There are very few Members of Congress who view the issues from a public safety perspective and because of this, Sandy’s insight during her first term made our nation safer and more prosperous. From Sandy’s first day in Congress, she was a force to be reckoned with. From Tallahassee to Washington, she focused her time on helping the victims of heinous crimes while also offering common-sense solutions to some of our nation’s most difficult challenges.
 
Sandy has dedicated her life to helping people and protecting the rights and freedoms of the American people. Sandy was one of the finest law enforcement officers and Congressional colleagues I have had the pleasure to serve with. I hope to have the opportunity to continue this alliance with her in Congress as we tackle the issues affecting Floridians. It is my honor to endorse my friend Sandy Adams for Congress.
