In times of danger, Americans always respond first with the selfless conviction to do what is necessary regardless of the consequences.
This is true whether the threat is against the sovereignty of our great nation, our allies, or innocent human beings around the world, wherever they may be.
This unending resolve was proven yet again by the selfless acts of three brave Americans, American heroes, who thrust themselves into the face of great danger aboard a train in France to save innocent civilians, and in doing so thwarted yet another attack by an Islamic terrorist.

These are the words from combat veteran and Republican congressional candidate Brian Mast, who praised U.S. Air Force Airman Spencer Stone, National Guardsman Alek Skarlatos, and Anthony Sadler, for their courageous act of valor in preventing what would have surely been a massacre of epic proportion.
The three Americans, including a British businessman have received France’s highest award, the Legion of Honor, for their actions this past weekend.
“Since Friday, the entire world admires your courage, your sangfroid, your spirit of solidarity…This is what allowed you to with bare hands — your bare hands — to subdue an armed man. This must be an example for all, and a source of inspiration.”-French President Hollande
Stone is credited with saving the life of one passenger that was shot in the neck by placing two fingers the wound to stop the bleeding. Stone himself suffered injuries to his neck and left thumb, and is expected to make a full recovery.
While this attack was thwarted, the outcome could have been terribly worse. The threat of radical Islam continues to grow, and countries like France, who have an immense Muslim population, will have to deal with this threat in their own back yards that has been cultivating within its Muslim-dominated neighborhoods better known as “no-go zones.”
