Hunting season for these big snakes is open.The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission has announced that the Elmer Fudd’s of Florida will now be able to compete for prizes to rid Florida public lands of these intrusive reptiles.
The competitive hunt will stretch from Jan.16-Feb. 14, 2016, allowing hunters to mount up a snake for the loved one just in time for Valentine’s Day.
