Democratic National Committee Chairwoman, Representative Debbie Wasserman Schultz, had a very awkward moment on the usually Democrat-friendly MSNBC TV show “Hardball with Chris Matthews.”
Wasserman Schultz was not prepared to answer the host’s question of about describing the difference between a Democrat and a socialist. The questioned stemmed from Matthews first asking her if she thought that self-proclaimed socialist and Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders, should speak in primetime at the 2016 Democratic National Convention.
Matthews was relentless with his question, and obviously caught ‘DWS’ off guard, forcing her to dodge it.

“What’s the difference between a Democrat and a socialist?”…I used to think there was a big difference. What do you think it is?”
Matthews, however, pressed on.
“You’re the chairman of the Democratic Party. Tell me what’s the difference between you and a socialist,” he said.Maybe Matthews and MSNBC are still upset at Wasserman Schultz over the comment she made accusing the network of engaging in biased reported?
Listen to Wasserman Schultz accuse MSNBC of being biased against Israel in their reporting of the ongoing conflict between the Israelis and Palestinians.
