Politics aside, it is great to hear that Democratic Senator Bill Nelson is “cancer-free,” this according to the POLITICO.
Like many men, Nelson had to undergo prostate surgery to remove a cancerous growth that doctors picked up on in “a routine check-up.”“The pathology report confirms Bill is completely free of cancer,” Grace Nelson said. “Bill is raring to go but the doctors won’t let him out of the house for a few more days.”
Nelson wasn’t the only member of the Senate Democratic Caucus to miss a few days of work this summer due to prostate surgery. Sen. Angus King (I-Maine) returned to the Senate last week after two weeks of recovery from surgery to remove prostate cancer.
