Donald Trump’s campaign accidentally tweeted a generated picture of him and Nazi soldiers blanketed with an American flag.
The picture was tweeted with the caption:We need real leadership. We need results. Let’s put the U.S. back into business.
Shortly after tweeting the picture, users started commenting about the patches on the soldiers uniforms and it was determined they were uniforms of the Waffen-SS, a Nazi unit.

After that was determined the campaign quickly deleted the image and released the following statement:
That’s right, they threw a young intern under the bus. Why didn’t anyone approve it before he made it live on social media?Mr. Trump has been in Charlottesville, Virginia, all day at the opening of a development. A young intern created and posted the image and did not see the very faded figures within the flag of the stock photo.
