Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker (R) has officially declared his candidacy for president, becoming the 15th announced candidate in the 2016 Republican presidential sweepstakes.
The popular 5-year governor, who as been polling at the top of the field of Republican presidential hopefuls prior to the announcement, is expected to change the dynamic of the race, and directly challenge frontrunner Jeb Bush.
Walker’s speech, in which he delivered without the use of a teleprompter, and at the same place he celebrated his recall election victory several years ago, was focused on his union-busting prowess he has shown in Wisconsin over the past several years.“Americans deserve a president who will fight and win for them… You see, It doesn’t matter if you’re from a big city, a suburb or a small town, I will fight and win for you. Healthy or sick, born or unborn, I will fight and win for you.”-Gov. Scott Walker
Here is a must watch rare video of Walker addressing a small group of conservative bloggers at the 2013 Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) in Washington, D.C.
