With his campaign $12 million raised for his 2016 presidential endeavor, Senator Marco Rubio has clearly solidified himself as one of the top tier candidates in the growing field of 2016 Republican presidential field.
Along with his supportive PAC’s and non-profits, Rubio has raised in excess of $42 million for his presidential run, besting most of the announced field of Republican presidential candidates.Rubio closes in on Senator Ted Cruz’s millions raised, even though he did transfer $3.3 million from is Senate campaign account over to his presidential piggy bank.
But even as both Cruz and Rubio have eached raised over $40 million, they are a long ways away from matching former Florida Governor Jeb Bush’s $100 million+ haul.
Do you think the 2nd Amendment will be destroyed by the Biden Administration?(2)
The race within the race-Rubio vs. Bush-which is being clearly defined in Florida, could very well decide who the next Republican presidential nominee will be.
Both men are just about even when it comes to support from within their home state of Florida, with Rubio only trailing Bush by a few points in the latest 2016 GOP presidential primary polls.
Some will argue that because Rubio has slipped a bit in the polls, he is actually positioning himself for the Vice President slot. This is not the case. Rubio is all in for President.
