Congressman Ron DeSantis (FL-R) briefed us about what is going on with the Iran deal in an email he sent out Sunday. He said:
The negotiations with Iran regarding the Iranian nuclear program blew past another deadline this week. At this point, the only question seems to be how bad a deal the United States is going to accept.
DeSantis went on to say he feels the Obama administration has no problem allowing Iran to become a “threshold nuclear state” and he wants to provide Iran with billions of dollars in sanctions relief.
He brought attention to the fact if the deal is passed it would make Iran a dominant power in the region and other countries would seek their own nuclear weapons.
Do you think the 2nd Amendment will be destroyed by the Biden Administration?(2)
DeSantis is not alone in his concerns. Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu issued an angry warning on Sunday about the upcoming deal. He said:
Netanyahu slammed Obama for violating his own “red line.” He also pointed out Iran has spent the last several days promising they would continue efforts to destroy the United States and Israel. We will not pay the price for this.
He said:
The president of Iran, Rouhani, stands at the head of the march of hatred in the streets of Tehran, in which US and Israeli flags are burned, and in which many chanted ‘Death to America’ and ‘Death to Israel.’
All of this is happening as the parade of concessions to Iran continues in Vienna, concessions even on issues that had been marked as red lines in the Lausanne package, which is a bad deal in its own right. It paves Iran’s way to many nuclear bombs and gives it hundreds of billions of dollars for its terrorism and conquest machine, thereby endangering the peace of the entire world.
DeSantis said Congress is growing inpatient and they are ready and willing to place more sanctions on Iran.
