If you have not realized it yet, we are in the middle of a race war. One that was created by a killer in Charleston, SC and the current administration. Quite frankly, it does not make any sense. People are quick to blame the confederate flag and confederate monuments for “racism” in the United States but historians will tell you that is not the case.
The Associated Press (AP) reported confederate monuments across the United States are being vandalized. Vandals are spray painting “Black Lives Matter” or “racism” on the them. The following cities have seen their memorials vandalized: St. Louis, MO, Charleston, SC, Baltimore, MD, Austin, TX, Asheville, NC and Richmond, VA.
Below are some AP pictures of the vandalism:
Do you think the 2nd Amendment will be destroyed by the Biden Administration?(2)
Charleston, SC

Richmond, VA
St. Louis, MO
Austin, TXPoliticians throughout the South are quickly taking steps to remove the confederate flag from public places. Some of them are also saying monuments should be taken down or destroyed as well.
Mitch McConnell (KY-R) said the Jefferson Davis Memorial at the Capitol building in Kentucky needs to go. He said:
We curiously enough have a statute of Jefferson Davis in the Capitol in Frankfort. I think it’s appropriate certainly in Kentucky to be talking about the appropriateness of having Jefferson Davis’ statute in our state Capitol. Maybe a better place for that would be the Kentucky history museum.
Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (NV-D) also called for confederate related statues to be taken down. He said:
We need to make sure that states understand who they have here. I think it would be important that we look at some of the statues that are here not as a result of what the states do, but what others do, and we’re going to look at that.
Some places are actually considering taking some of the statues down.
In St. Louis there are considering taking down the 32-foot-tall, 101-year-old statue and said they will make up their mind by the end of the summer.
In Texas, the University of Austin is considering taking down its statues of Davis and other Confederate war hereos. That decision is expected by August 1.
In Kentucky, political leaders and gubernatorial candidates are calling for the Jefferson Davis statue to be removed.
There has also been efforts to remove Confederate monuments in Nashville, TN, Shreveport, LA, Orlando, FL, Portsmouth, VA and Birmingham, AL.The statue in question that will possibly be removed in Orlando, FL is one of a confederate soldier in Lake Eola Park. It was erected by members of the United Daughters of the Confederacy as a tribute to their confederate ancestors who died in the Civil War. The monument has stood as a memorial in Orlando since 1911 and it was moved to Lake Eola Park in 1917. An inscription on the monument states it is a loving tribute to the Confederate soldier but others are saying it is a symbol of racism.
