Oh yes he did! During an interview President Obama referred to black American’s as n*****’s.
As reported by The Hill, on Friday, less than 48 hours after the mass shooting at an African-American church in South Carolina, the president said racism is still deeply ingrained in our society. He was being interviewed by comedian Marc Maron for his “WTF Podcast.”
During the interview he said:
After the interview the White House was left to the task of explaining why he would use such an inappropriate word. White House spokesman Josh Earnest called the President’s choice of words to be unscripted and “provocative.” Earnest said:take our poll - story continues belowDo you think the 2nd Amendment will be destroyed by the Biden Administration?(2)

Racism, we are not cured of it. And it’s not just a matter of it not being polite to say n**** in public. That’s not the measure of whether racism still exists or not.
The way the president designed his argument in this scenario is more provocative. I don’t think there is anybody here that is surprised that this is something that is getting a little bit more attention.
That is not the first time Obama has said the word. He has used it many times before. One of the most controversial times was when he refereed to his grandfather as one.
As reported by Fox News, back in 2012 while describing his own grandfather in his Dreams from My Father: A Story of Race and Inheritance, one passage referred to him as a “House n*****.”
Obama said:
My image of Onyango, faint as it was, has always been of an autocratic man — a cruel man, perhaps. But I had also imagined him an independent man, a man of his people, opposed to white rule . . . What Granny had told us scrambled that image completely, causing ugly words to flash across my mind. Uncle Tom. Collaborator. House n*****.
Personally, I believe his use of the word degrades the position of the President. Seemingly it is common ground for him though. In prior emails from the campaign the headlines have also included curse words and it is just not appropriate behaivor for the President of the United States regardless of their political affiliation.
Below is a video segment from Fox News which includes his latest statement. The word n**** of course, has been bleeped out.
