While Republicans love to hate her, and Democrats don’t know what to do with her, one thing is certain, Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz isn’t going anywhere anytime soon.
There was talk that Wasserman Schultz was looking into a U.S. Senate run in 2016, but she quickly nixed that idea, saying that she was content in her role as Democratic National Committee Chair and congresswoman in Florida’s 23rd congressional district. With the presidential campaign season just getting started, and other congressional candidates making known their intentions to run for the U.S. Congress, Wasserman Schultz is also out there campaigning for re-election.
Considering that Wasserman Schultz is one of most outspoken, if not the most outspoken, supporters of same-sex marriage and equality rights, it was no surprise to see the congresswoman campaigning for re-election in the annual gay pride parade in Wilton Manors, Florida.
Do you think the 2nd Amendment will be destroyed by the Biden Administration?(2)
“Team DWS” was in full swing and pressing the flesh with their base of support on a hot Saturday afternoon in June.

June is gay pride month across the country.
To my knowledge, there weren’t any of her Republican challengers at parade, not even the elusive and crazy-like-a-fox, Joe Kaufman, who got spanked by Wasserman Schultz in the 2014 general election.
Kaufman hasn’t formally announced his intention to run against Wasserman Schultz again, but he has said that he is running for congress, again.
Where he will run is anyone’s guess. The three-time election day losing candidate is rumored to be considering a run for congress in Florida’s 22nd congressional district.
CD 22 would be an easier lift for Kaufman than CD23, but in a presidential year, the numbers do not favor any Republican, especially someone that walks around with a bullet proof vest, wears an campaign lapel pin, and who once stated that he would like to see Damascus, Syria nuked.I think it is safe to say that Wasserman Schultz will easily win re-election.
Who is going to challenge her?
