The thought that Jeb Bush’s “Right to Rise” Super PAC could raise upwards of $100 million in its first Federal Election Commission filing may come to pass, this after Bush’s campaign advisor, Mike Murphy, told donors during a conference call that the other presidential opponents will have “heart attacks” when they find out how much the super PAC has actually raised.
“This organization is going to break records with what’s happened in the last six or seven months…“You guys get the credit. It’s been a incredible, terrific effort.”–Mike MurphyMurphy added:
“We are very, very focused on the next two weeks,” Murphy reportedly said. “That’s because the report, as you all know, will become public in July for what we’ve raised until the end of June.”
“We want to weaponize our number,” he added, according to BuzzFeed. “The press has set a very high expectation, much higher than we would have set for ourselves, but that’s the way it works. So we want to hit the biggest possible number for the Super PAC.”

Can Bush’s millions overcome his campaign’s negatives, including the Bush name fatigue?
Bush recently released a long list of elected officials that are supporting his presidential campaign. Once he announces his campaign and super PAC fundraising totals, expect that list of endorsees to grow.
