During an interview on CNN’s “State of the Union” on Sunday Bill Clinton discussed the GOP contenders running for president.
He said:They’ve got a lot of youth, they’ve got a lot of energy, they’ve got some significant diversity and they’re no dummies.
And they believe what they believe. They still believe trickle-down economics works better than investment and their conviction are so great that they’re undeterred by evidence and that’s always amazing to me.
Do you think the 2nd Amendment will be destroyed by the Biden Administration?(2)
A lot of Republican candidates have been openly criticizing his wife Hillary Clinton. Some have seemingly made it their job to do so even though they have not won the nomination and Bill had some words for them as well:
What surprised him most of all is the amount of GOP candidates running. They’ll all sing in the choir about how bad Hillary was. And it will be difficult for those who thought she was great when she was a secretary of state and went on record saying it.
There’s a lot of them. It looks more like the Kentucky Dirby than Belmont. I sympathize with the question of how the primary voters are going to decide who to vote for.
When asked who his favorite was, he wouldn’t comment but he reminded everyone how close his family is with the Bush’s. Clinton generally refers to Bush, Sr. as the black sheep of the Republican family and I think that is worth reading more in to.
