After getting a lot of backlash from the media because of his comments on Monday President Barack Obama is now considering sending 500 additional forces to Iraq. They will mainly be focused on training Iraqi soldiers according to CNN.
It was said the military was considering several options. They included sending as many as 1,000 troops to Iraq but decided to send 500 late Tuesday. A final decision should be coming soon.Details have not surfaced indicating how many of those troops will be used to train Iraqi forces or if they will be used for other purposes such as security, air support or medical aide.
