On Saturday, President Barack Obama eulogized Beau Biden who passed away last week due to brain cancer. Beau was only 46 years old and left behind a wife and two young children.
Beau was the former Delaware Attorney General, Iraq War veteran and son of Vice President Joe Biden.Obama said Beau “did not have a mean bone in his body” to thousands of mourners at a Roman Catholic funeral Mass in Wilmington, Delaware.

During the eulogy Obama was very emotional and at several times when he praised Beau he almost broke down.
General Raymond Odierno, the Army chief of staff, also awarded Beau with the Legion of Merit. He was hailed as being a member of a brotherhood of soldiers that have a “deep moral and ethical roots.”The Vice President did not speak at the funeral book watched as his daughter Ashley and his son Hunter eulogized their brother. Ashley talked about how she accompanied him to chemotherapy treatments and Hunter said he held his brother’s hand as he took his last breath.
Other mourners in attendance included: Bill and Hillary Clinton, Senate Republican Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, Democratic leader in the House, Nancy Pelosi and tons of other high profile Washington elites.
