On Monday, Senator Lindsey Graham (SC-R) announced he is running for president in his hometown of Central, South Carolina.

He said:

I’m pretty sure no one here, including me, ever expected to hear me say, ‘I’m Lindsey Graham and I’m running for president of the United States.

Graham is a three term senator who has the opposite view of another GOP candidate, Rand Paul. He was a reserve officer in the United States Air Force and has been on several trips to the Middle East. Graham also has spent numerous time on the Senate Armed Service Committee.

Currently he is not getting a lot of traction in the polls and is seen as a long shot candidate.
