Former Senator Rick Santorum (R-PA) launched his second presidential campaign on Wednesday at a manufacturing facility in Cabot, Pennsylvania.

I am proud to stand here among you and for you, the American workers who have sacrificed so much, to announce that I am running for president of the United States.

As Middle America is hollowed out, we can’t sit idly by as big government politicians make it harder for our workers to turn around and blame them. Working families don’t need another president tied to big government or big money, and today is the day we are going to begin to fight back.

During his speech he took shots at Hillary Clinton. He pointed out her support for a pathway to citizenship for illegal immigrants.

Hillary Clinton and big businesses have called for a massive influx in unskilled labor. Big business does it to control costs. Hillary does it, well, she just wants the votes. Their priorities are profits and power. My priority is you, the American worker.

Santorum left Pennsylvania on Wednesday to participate in round table discussions and town-hall events in the states of Iowa and South Carolina.
