You have to hand it to Hillary Clinton, for focusing on not repeating the same 2008 mistakes she made that cost her the Democratic presidential nomination to then-Senator Barack Obama.
Hillary wants to paint Florida blue, and is planning to spend a considerable amount of time in the Sunshine State, to make sure that next November she walks away with Florida in her back pant suit pocket.According to the POLITICO’S rascally political reporter Marc “Frisbee” Caputo, HC will be in Florida holding several public events that will compliment several scheduled fundraisers, including one with ambulance-chasing trial lawyer John Morgan.

While Hillary is making moves in Florida, and Senator Marco Rubio, and former Florida Governor Jeb Bush were also out stumping and pressing the flesh with possible donors and voters.
Rubio was in rural north central Florida speaking to a thousand Republicans, while Jeb was in the Miami boogie-down holding a grassroots fundraiser/rally.But while Rubio, Jeb, and Hillary are expected to be in Florida picking their low-lying political fruit, where is Ted Cruz and the rest of Republican presidential candidates?
Adonde esta Senador Ted Cruz?
Team Cruz said that Florida was crucial for their success in 2016, and have made a few stops, including one in Jacksonville. But if they expect to pry open Rubio’s and Bush’s base of support, the Cruzers need to start showing Florida’s conservative grassroots that they are serious about carrying the state in the GOP presidential primary race.
Until Cruz and the others in the 2016 GOP field of presidential candidates set-up shop in Florida and target those Republican activists who feel alienated by both Marco and Jeb, Florida will continue to be Rubio/Bush country.
Meanwhile, in case you missed it, Rubio and Cruz were yucking it up together at the Georgia Republican convention in Athens this past weekend.
