On Thursday afternoon the White House was locked down once again. This time it was because a man flew a remote-controlled aerial device over the White House fence. I guess the new spikes wouldn’t have made a difference in that situation.
The incident resulted in the park of the north side of the White House being placed on lockdown and investigated. That lockdown has since been lifted.At the time of the incident President Barack Obama was not in the White House. He was at Camp David.
This is the second drone breach this year alone. Four months ago a U.S. intelligence employee lost control of his drone quadcopter that he was flying around his apartment.

No charges have been filed in the latest situation. After the man realized his drone crash-landed on the White House lawn he reported it to the Secret Service.
I guess this means they will need to install anti drone missiles on the new Goliath fence that is expected to be installed next year.
