Rep. Carlos Curbelo (R) has just announced that he is doing what 80 other members of the U.S. Congress have been doing, sleeping in their offices in order to save a buck or two.
In order to save from having to pay the $1600 in rent he was dishing out every month, Curbelo recently told Univision that in order for him to “save time and a little money,” he took Rep. Paul Ryan’s suggestion of sleeping in his office.

Carlos Curbelo stashes a twin size roll-away bed in his office. So every night, Curbelo goes into the closet, and quickly comes out with his little cama, or bed.
There aren’t any showers in congressional offices, so Curbelo and the rest of the congressional office-tenants have to go down to the congressional gym to take a bubble bath.
