A group known as the Islamic State Hacking Organization has created a hit list of 100 service men and women currently in the United States. On their website they listed names, pictures and home addresses of service men and women from all branches of the U.S. military.
They have called for followers to attack them and behead them. The file was posted online on Saturday and then it was removed. It said they were leaking the 100 names “so that our brothers residing in America can deal with you.”
Officials are taking this threat very seriously. The Naval Criminal Investigation Service notified the Marines that were listed. The Navy reminded service members to limit the information they put online about themselves and the Army said they were working with the Defense Department to “determine the validity of any potential threats,” they also advised soldiers “to take prudent measures to limit the sharing of personal information online.”

A U.S. law enforcement agent said all of the 100 service members listed have been notified and it is believed ISIS members and sympathizers of their cause have been scouring social media to get as much information as they can.
The threat file appeared to include information that was already available publicly on social media accounts, online phone directories and other records that are accessible to the public.
As of right now, the Defense Department has said they cannot confirm the validity of the online posting but they are looking into the claim. The FBI is looking into it as well.
