In a new Wall Street Journal/NBC News poll it was found that Republican voters are divided in their support for Jeb Bush. 49 percent of Republicans can see themselves voting for Bush in 2016. While 42 percent said they cannot.
Three other potential 2016 candidates scored worse then Bush. They were South Carolina Senator, Lindsey Graham. 20 percent said they could support him and 51 percent said they couldn’t. Next was New Jersey Governor Chris Christie. 32 percent said they would support him and 57 percent said they couldn’t. Last but not least was Donald Trump. Only 23 percent of Republicans said they could support him whereas 74 percent said they could not.
The remainder of the poll will be released Monday night. It will contain the Republicans who ranked higher as well as results for Democratic candidates.
This poll was conducted March 1-5 amongst 229 Republican voters. The margin of error is plus-minus 6.5 percentage points.
