Senator Ted Cruz (R) addressed reporters before taking the stage to address Floridians at the 2015 Duval County Republican Lincoln Day dinner, where he was asked about his intentions to run for president in 2016.
Cruz, who said that he would continue to make visits to Florida in the coming months, also said that he is looking very seriously into the 2016 presidential race,” and that it was “now or never,” if he were to make the run.Reporters also asked him about former Governor Jeb Bush, who is said to be ready to announce his presidential candidacy, if he thought Bush was a conservative. Cruz responded that that question needed to be answered by Republican presidential voters, and not him. Cruz added that he believes Bush is a “good man,” but that their existed “significant policy disagreements” between the two.
