Ever since the top law firm that represents the Florida Association of Court Clerks Greenberg Traurig advised the clerk of Washington County they would be bound by a ruling issued by U.S. District Judge Robert L. Hinkle everything has been really confusing in Florida when it comes to same sex marriage.
In order to stop statewide confusion Attorney General Pam Bondi had asked U.S. Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas to keep a stay that would not allow same-sex couples to marry on January 6, 2015.Pursuant to an order from the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Florida, the Attorney General’s Office has since filed the response below in response to the Washington County Clerk of Court’s Emergency Motion for clarification.
While the Attorney General’s Office had sought to clarify the ruling it is apparent after multiple media reports that is not what has happened.
Do you think the 2nd Amendment will be destroyed by the Biden Administration?(2)
