The latestCNN/ORC poll has former Florida Governor Jeb Bush as the clear frontrunner in a race between potential Republican presidential candidates. The CNN poll phone-interviewed 1,011 Americans on December 18-21 of this year, and has a 3 percent margin of error.
Here is the actual poll question posed to participants:I’m going to read a list of people who may be running in the Republican primaries for president in 2016. After I read all the names, please tell me which of those candidates you would be most likely to support for the Republican nomination for president in 2016, or if you would support someone else. Jeb Bush, Ben Carson, Chris Christie, Ted Cruz, Mike Huckabee, Bobby Jindal, John Kasich, Rand Paul, Mike Pence, Rick Perry, Rob Portman, Marco Rubio, Paul Ryan, Rick Santorum, or Scott Walker. (RANDOM ORDER)
Here are the results of that question. Bush is far ahead of the pack. Look at where Rubio and Cruz are. Only one percentage point separates them.

In a recent “unscientific” SHARK TANK poll, Rubio trounces Bush. Keep in mind that the SHARK TANK’S readers are mostly Floridians, but considering that Florida tends to sway every presidential election, the poll is worth noting.
In another ST poll, readers believe that Texas Senator is considered more Republican than Senator Rubio. With this said, and the polls being the way they are, could we see a possible Cruz presidential run that could steal the limelight away from any possible future run by Rubio, or perhaps even Bush start bleeding support to Cruz?
