With MIT Professor and Obamacare architect Jonathan Gruber coming before the House Oversight committee and apologizing for insulting the American voter by calling them stupid, it appears that President Obama’s legacy healthcare legislation is all but doomed, and on its way to the scrapped.

Mica told the SHARK TANK that he believes that Gruber’s testimony was crucial to defund and then repeal of the law, because the bill and subsequent law was “based on doing things behind the scenes,” and that the entire bill “was crafted around the notion that the American people or others in Congress were stupid and that it could have been done in a non-transparent fashion.”

Mica added that he believes that “this is the beginning of the unraveling of Obamacare.”

In addition to commenting on Gruber, Mica discussed his interaction at the hearing with another witness, Marilyn Tavenner, administrator at the Centers of Medicare and Medicaid Services, who was ill-prepared and failed to give specific counts about Obamacare in many of her answers.

Mrs. Tavenner needs to find other employment if she can’t come before congress and give accurate information on how many been covered by Obamacare.-Rep. John Mica (R-FL)
