Speaking at the Boca Raton Chamber of Commerce in Boca Raton, Florida, Florida Governor Rick Scott announced that the state’s unemployment numbers have dropped from 11% to 6% since he was elected governor, and who’s annual job growth rate continues to be tops around the country since.
According to the Governor’s office,” Florida’s unemployment rate has declined or held steady over the month for 47 of the last 50 months.”
In addition to the low unemployment numbers, Scott announced that another 32,000 private-sector jobs were created in the month of October, and reminded folks that under his watch, 679,000 private-sector jobs have been created.
Scott confidently stated that when it comes to jobs creation, “we (Florida) are winning.”
