Rick Scott, sporting his now-customary blue Navy baseball cap, ended his re-election bus tour in the Cuban-American stronghold of Hialeah, Florida, surrounded by the who’s who of the “arroz con pollo” politics of Miami-Dade County.
Reps. Ileana Ros-Lehtinen and Mario Diaz-Balart, along with a slew of other state and municipal elected officials, were all on hand along with former Governor Jeb Bush, who was welcomed with open arms my the mass of Cubans who interrupted his speech with chants that he run for President in 2016.While addressing reporters after the event, Bush was asked about his intentions to run for President. Bush said in both Spanish and English, that he didn’t know yet, but reiterated that he would make that decision at the end of the year.
If bush sticks to his word, we should expect an announcement from him within the next 29 days.
