The Rothenberg Political Report/Roll Call rating reports Florida’s 26th Congressional District is no longer a toss up, it is now leaning Republican. Whereas that is bad news for Representative Joe Garcia, it is great news for Carlos Curbelo and for the voters in the 26th District quite frankly.
Carlos Curbelo’s Spokesman, Wadi Gaitan, had the following to say about the latest news:With seven days left on the countdown this is more bad news for Joe Garcia as he continues to struggle with a tainted history of scandals and infective leadership, while the Republican momentum to turn the page on Garcia and elect an effective, ethical leader remains strong.
Republicans will have no problem maintaining the majority in the House and it looks like they will have a few more allies soon. The question is how many additional seats will they win? We will find out soon enough!
