Arkansas’ Incumbent Senator Mark Pryor (D) may have a tougher road to re-election than he previously thought he had, now that his college thesis is out in the open.
Pryor is facing the Rubio-backed Congressman Tom Cotton, in what many politicos are saying is one of those Senate seats that Republicans will win this November 4.The Washington Free Beacon has obtained Pryor’s college thesis in which he wrote the following head-scratching opinion about government’s desegregation of Arkansas’ “largest public school” back in 1957:
“Arkansas has been invaded unwillingly twice. Once in reality and once figuratively…“The Civil War provided the real invasion. The figurative invasion took place in 1957 at Little Rock Central High School. That event took a local problem out of the local authorities’ hands. The federal government had again forced its will on the people of Arkansas.”
